    tho SNSD tends to be on the cheap side w/ CFs so that's why they get so many. That's pretty much a fact idw any dumb idiots trying to be like "YOU EVIL HATER"

  4. I wouldn't call you a hater for that. But i see it this way, its like a store who sells a lot of stuff cheap and gets well known, more customers come in and the store gains popularity. Next thing you know they are the biggest store in the city and sell all kinds of higher price merchandise too.

  7. It's not because of the CF's that make SNSD so popular, it's because they're ALREADY so popular that they receive these CF deals... (i.e., look at the list and you can already see a direct correlation of popularity --> CFs).

    Just because they didn't promote any song as a group doesn't mean they weren't active. So therefore those polls they won are still a result of their faces being in the media (CF's, dramas, musicals, etc)

  11. lee seung gi has been the best preferance model for three consecutive years....all his brand kolon,zipel,pizza are highest selling brands in korea......all the brands for whom he has been advertising have always renewed their contract with him be it zipel,kolon,herritory,activa etc......

  45. Lee Seunggi is known as the "emperor of entertainment" or something. He can do everything... MC, sing, act, host, variety... and he does them all really well.


    I think the only place he's sorta lacking in is dancing... but he's a ballad singer so no one cares.

    i bravely said IU's popularity maybe is close with some snsd members popularity, but no for suzy, she is still a way by far from snsd members popularity, nuff said. lol

  72. Bigbang wasn't even active in 2009/10 and they made their 2year comeback in 2011 and even in that year they stopped their promotions short because of the car accident and then drug scandal.

  76. Suzy only has 13-15 CFs in 2012, she didn't make it. miss A, as a group, doesn't have a CF for 2012.


    SeoHyun and Yoona's includes their CF with the Girls Generation.. because they're there too.

  78. Lee Seung Gi was not active in 2012 and the brands he endorse didn't release many new CFs, this is number of CF means quantity. But Psy and he are #1 and #2 number the list of favorite CF models, and if I'm not mistaken, he's #1 on CM poll last year. I think that's very impressive while he had less CFs but still can manage to rank high like that.

    Maybe that's the case for Won Bin too, he didn't do much except filming CFs but still be Korean favorite CF model.

    Looked into Won Bin's brands endorsed in 2012. Maybe he did not film a lot of CF's for these brands?

  94. Wow, so much confusion over this article. NB, why didn't you explain how these numbers came about?

    Endorsements =/= CFs. You can endorse one brand and shoot 3 CFs for it. You can endorse a brand and not shoot any CFs at all (print ads are a thing). For example, Yoona and Seohyun do not have that many solo endorsements because that number includes multiple CFs shot for a single brand as well as CFs they shot as members of SNSD. All the people in this list are obviously top stars in the CF world, no dispute, but understand where these numbers come from.

    And for those calling nugu on 2PM, they had about 20 endorsements last year, not all of them in Korea, and not all of them having CFs, so take a seat.
